These terms cover moving services provided by Always Moving, a licensed local moving company based in Salisbury, Maryland. Booking a move with us means you agree to the terms below. They are written to be plain, and our office is glad to walk through any of them before you sign.
Estimates and Binding Quotes
A standard written estimate reflects our best assessment based on the walkthrough, video, or inventory you provide. A binding flat-rate quote, which we use for long-distance moves and offer on local jobs, fixes the price in advance — that total does not change as long as the inventory, addresses, and access conditions match what was quoted. If the actual move differs significantly from what you described, we will discuss any adjustment with you before proceeding.
Deposits and Cancellation
A $135 deposit reserves your date and is applied to your final balance. If you need to cancel or reschedule, let us know at least 48 hours before your move and your deposit can be applied to a new date. Last-minute cancellations may forfeit the deposit, since a reserved date turns away other work.
Liability and Coverage
Released-value protection is included at no charge and covers your goods at sixty cents per pound per article, which is the standard basic liability for licensed movers. Full-value protection, which covers the repair or replacement value of an item, is available for an added cost — ask us before your move date to add it. Claims must be reported promptly and in writing.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Always Moving operates under its US DOT and MC authority for interstate moves and its Maryland intrastate registration for moves within the state. Questions about these terms can be directed to (888) 711-4778 or [email protected].
