Most of what Garrett’s crew loads in a week stays inside the Shore. A 1-bedroom near Salisbury University, a bayfront place in Ocean City, a farmhouse down a long lane off US-13 — these are the moves Always Moving has run since 2015, and we price them by the hour so you only pay for the time on the clock.
A two-mover crew with a truck, blankets, dollies, and tools runs $148/hr; add a third mover for heavier or stair-heavy jobs and it’s $202/hr. We can usually get a crew to your door the same week you call, and your $135 deposit comes straight off the final total.
Timing a Shore Move Around the Weather and the Beach Traffic
Summer on Delmarva means US-50 fills with beach traffic by mid-morning, so we start early and route around MD-90 and the Salisbury Bypass to keep your day from stalling. When a nor’easter or a coastal storm is in the marine forecast, we’ll call you to stage the move a day either side rather than load a truck in driving rain off the Atlantic.
One Local Crew, Start to Finish
The same uniformed movers who wrap your furniture in Berlin carry it into your new place in Fruitland or Cambridge — no swap-outs, no subcontractors. We keep our US DOT/MC authority and Maryland intrastate registration current, and every job starts with a written estimate so the flat or hourly price you hear is the price you pay.
